Meet your father for work

Being stuck without a phone is bad, being stuck with a pay as you go phone with limited credit is worse. Especially if you’re like me (a phone addict). If you wonder what happened to my iphone, it committed suicide. Turns out it couldn’t stand to live with me :P

Anyways, dug up my spare vodafone and charged that before heading out to meet a friend in Kensington. Being typical me, I was running late, though I can stay honestly, this time it wasn’t my fault. It was the tube. Why? One of the trains had broken down. Honestly!

Texted my friend telling her my new temporary number, but she knew me and being late so was patiently waiting for me, easily catching sight of the flustered asian girl heading towards her. She walked towards me before pulling me towards Marks and Sparks for their food, good food, before we headed to whole foods for brownies, then heading to the park for lunch. Deciding to take advantage of the good weather.

Two hours later, we left the park, both preparing to go our seperate ways. Seeing a black van that looked rather familiar I stopped my friend to quickly see the licence plate. Low and behold, I realised that van was indeed our van (dad’s a chauffeur), but the guy driving it wasn’t my dad. Whipping the phone out my handbag, I rang him to discover he was in the car on the opposite side of the road. Great dad. That meant saying bye to my friend and racing to the nearest traffic lights to cross to the other side of the road. Saw dad, met a few of my uncles and then left to do the banking for mum where it turned out I’d done the paper work wrong so had to redo it. Go me! Paperwork shouldn’t be that hard! Then went downstairs to the service area of the branch to ask to open a new saving’s account for my student loan that’s due. Turned out a half an hour wait so I decided that dad could deal with my presence for another half an hour, he was only too happy to see me and put up with me. Got to meet another one of his collegues who was absolutely lovely and nice. Got to also remeet my uncle who asked if I wanted some food but I turned down on the account of just having lunch (damn!).

Anyways, banking done, headed home and realised the rash was back with vengence. Now covering my chest, my side and back and of this moment, now my right hand. It seems to be mainly on my right side. I wonder if that’s a sign. Going to the doctor’s is a battle and a half with mum who doesn’t seem to care about how serious it is as the antibiotics aren’t doing anything. Great.
